Unless you have a burning desire to sit in the pointy end of a jet and have little ambition for any type of a normal well rounded life, this career makes zero sense.
Your friend's kid did not get a job as a P.A. with just a 2 year degree. Not only that, but getting into a school that offers the P.A. program is not as easy as it sounds.
