I think the main reason is because the B1900 is just poor customer service. It may be a blast to fly and be a great performer but passengers expect an FA and a lav when they get on an airliner. The Beeches have their place in the very short AND very thin market. A 40 min leg is one thing. But putting people on a B1900 for a 2+ hour flight is borderline criminal. I hear its not uncommon for crews to find bottles filled with p!ss when they clean the cabin.
Yeah, I definitly agree very poor customer service A/C. In fact I hate riding in them as a PAX. Its sooo loud. Oh, and yes pilots have found **** and other things sandwich between the back seats. I have not encountered any problems yet, though this is my first month on the line. I have heard some pretty interesting stories

Fortunately before they board most station agents will warn the PAX's there is no Lav on board. I think that helps.
