First, after a crappy week, just watching this "slow-motion trainwreck" has made me feel better. I'll grant you you- that's not right (or good), but I'll take what I can get.

Second- I've met, known, or heard of (from people I trust) of so many individuals who are compulsive liars. Most of them led fairly impressive lives, good jobs, nice families, business success, etc. Ironically, most of them NEVER had any real reason to lie at the levels they did. I just don't get it.

One looks around. Volunteer Fireman- I did that and I respect that, airline pilot, I respect that as well...so why embellish? I also understand why those who are qualified and doing the jobs he claimed to be doing are understandably [edit; "upset"]. Who knows.....but hey, watching this trainwreck is going a long way to making my week go by, if not better, at least faster.
