I went onto fly confirmed for less with the exact same itinerary, they were direct flights, and the price was $260. $100 of which was taxes and fees.
I emailed the pass people to ask them about it. Their answer was that they have no idea. I just do not understand how taxes and fees could be double when a fare is reduced.
Yep, watch out. I beleive the taxes are on a higher fare ticket. The taxes were not this way under the old system. Maybe there is a bug. Most tickets have at least 60 dollars and fees. They are always double the taxes and fees that are on delta.com.
