That paticular bear along with two others are AT the Bear Center and are NOT portrayed as "Wild" Black Bears, but rather as "Captive" Black Bears. That big bear kissing everyone is TED. He held my arm in his mouth and eventually gave it back to me unmarked. I told him guys don't kiss, they shake hands. And no, I didn't "get" a t-shirt by attending the course. I purchased a t-shirt along with some other things however, after they set up the den cam, as did many others who saw the value in what they are trying to accomplish up there.
