I didn't get on once. I thought it was funny. Scheduling didn't as a flight almost cancelled because of it. I was short-called on reserve to deadhead to a different hub, then fly to the west coast. I arrived at the gate 35 minutes prior to departure to a boarding aircraft to find out I was not listed. The flight was oversold. I called scheduling, they listed me, but the agent refused to give me a seat. He was pretty intent on me sitting in the jumpseat. I refused as I had to fly a 5 hour flight later that night. I didn't get on. My flight to the west coast ended up getting covered by a green slip with conflict.
