That's right, the word "Forbidden" was actually used.

In a memo. About speech. To professionals.

I guess "prohibited" was too soft, S.TF.U was too blue collar, and "outlawed" was too harsh?
Must be working, crews are in compliance. Rode a Comair flight today, oops, Delta Connection flight.... Announced as "this is Delta Connection flight xxxx to JFK" No mention of Comair.... whatsoever.

On a side note: Browsing through the Sky mag, looking at the cool shiny jet pictures of the mighty Delta fleet, it shows everything from the 747-400 down to the mighty SF340 as aircraft in the "Delta Fleet" No mention of any of the current connection carriers. For the customer, the boundry line between the connection carrier and Mother Del-dah is all but gone. I wonder what the mainline DAL folks think about that ... Looks like those are Delta aircraft, shouldn't they be flown by Delta pilots and cabin crew? Sadly, the venerable DC-9 was suspicously absent So the Saab, the EMB 170, and 145 make the list, but the -9 is out.
