Did you just say AE's hiring process should reflect Southwest's ? Maybe AE and the rest of the regionals should pay a respectable salary and then maybe they will get the caliber of pilots they "require".
AE will be knocked off their high horse as soon as the other's start hiring, when all the "desirable" folks in the pool are mysteriously gone.
