Hi all,

It looks as though they are sending out certified letters now, if you don't pass the board, as I just got one. I can honestly tell you I have no idea what they are looking at there in the hiring dept. I have over 6,000 hours, 3 types and absolutely nothing in my background. I don't even have a speeding ticket, let alone any FAA issues.

I was a previous employee years ago, however, I never had any issues there and left on good terms. They said that this would not be an issue. I am also furloughed from NetJets and Spirit, so maybe that played a role, who knows. The interview went as well as it could have gone. I felt extremely good about all three portions.

I am feeling like this will turn out to be a good thing, since I was not real excited about going there anyway, as I was only doing it to maintain currency. You would think that after the Colgan crash, they would want to hire the most experienced people possible.

BTW, I interviewed January 26th, and it took them two and a half months to get me an answer, classy. This reminds me of one of the many reasons that I left years ago. Good luck to those of you applying, it is actually a decent place to go to build some time or get out of flying freight. I interviewed when Claudette was there, she was a great lady and did a great job under difficult situations. Looks like now that she is gone, it's a mess over on Amon Carter Blvd.
