The above statements give it all away. With your amount of experience and type ratings, AE very well knows it's a matter of time before you hightail once you get the next best offer elsewhere. And with that, tens of thousands of dollars down the drain that they spent on you in training. Being a previous employee rubs them the wrong way too. Makes them feel like you use them when times are hard only. The last statement gives it all away.....they see this too and know you are only there for the interim. In a nutshell, their decision was based on the above. Fly safe fellas!
