I was doing some thinking which is a dangerous thing to do while on furlough. Why would the company come out with a permanent bid to be effective in May if they might do more recalls in May which would require another bid to be effective in June? What are the chances that this could mean no more recalls are planned? I just assume that they would have waited to move everyone around until they had everyone that they needed back. Is this a normal practice? I better stop thinking now. Beer time!

BTW, I heard that the CQ ground instructor quit
Don't read anything into it.
Recalled in Feb, but was on the March permanent bid. They tried to say we were assigned to that domicile immediately, I laughed, cried foul, and as they examined it is effective on the 1st of the coming month, not the day it posts, anyone is still assigned to their previous domicile until the beginning of the new month. Say hello to "forced moves" and all benefits associated with.
