I did my ATP MEL on my 135 checkride in a Navajo. I tried to do it in a Baron the year before, but our POI was a hemorroid. I tried to do the ATP SEL a few months ago when I did a 135 ride in a single engine, but the POI didn't hold an ATP SEL himself, so he couldn't administer the test, even though it is the same test.

I was going to pay for the first one because I was impatient, but I am glad I waited and let someone else pay for it. Total out of pocket was 29.95 for the written prep software and $95 for Lasergrade.
