There are plenty of South guys who do not think the sun rises and sets with Lee and FWIW I just had a North guy on the jumpseat who was extremely negative about the Seattle guys (he was a Green book guy).

We have a winner! I really and truly respect differring opinions on the way we've done business... it is good for all of us. But this "you don't know me!" crap is just stupid. A huuuuge majority of guys I fly with don't like Lee or the recent path of the current admin.
I've seen some significant positive change, and with continued help it will continue to manuever in that direction. This emotional pansy crap on the other hand will not. It will only serve to divide. Trying to say "you don't know our language" is just stupid. We're all pilots. We all complain about nearly everything.
Here's all that I ask.... tone down the sky is falling stuff and come up with practical corrections to problems that you see.
What has been done in the past because it was done that way may not be the best way. NWA had an absolutely horrendous relationship with management. That is NOT the best way. DAL was more or less the opposite. That is NOT the best way.
Much like combining our procedures (the final product, not the short game we have now... there is more to come that will truly respect the best of both worlds), there is a very solid and logical middle ground.
