The point of this thread is to show how little we make it's not to say that driving a truck for UPS is better than being a pilot.

I can't agree with everything you say here. It would most certainly take more then 6 years to get a full time driving postition at UPS. It takes closer to 10 years. That's when the money/bennies kicks in. I would also say these drivers do a lot more then just dodge cars enroute. There is a ton of physical labor involved, in what can many times be unfavorable working conditions such as being exposed to the elements for most of the working day.

I also enjoy going on the road every now and then. I absolutely LOVE my Family, and all the time I spend with them. However, going on the road helps provide me with a healthy realization of how much I really have at home. It helps me not take for granted the many things I've been blessed with. My job works great for me and my family.

I will agree with you on the pay thing though.
