I had responded to a post from TSquare that I pulled down because it wasn't nearly as well written.
I think we jump on each other due to our own frustrations with the merger itself. NONE of us wanted this merger, but here we are, (and overall, I agree it's working out to be a good thing). I know personally (my move for family reasons) and professionally this has been the year from hell. Somewhere along the line I just got "transitioned out". EVERYTHING pi$$ed me off and I did start taking it out on a few guys on here.....and why I had to just get away for awhile. Case in point, I had to start, turn off and restart the AWABS and Flight Planning stuff about 4 or 5 times before I was able to get it done. Add to that PBS, AEs, voice response passwords etc. My fault and like I said, I was starting to make it other people's fault.
It's time we all lightened up somewhat, and that starts with me.

Very nice post. I understand your frustration with all the changes. Changing procedures you have used for years let alone PBS, the AE system etc. would have overwhelmed me. In my case, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks!! All I can say is I'm very thankful that I didn't have to go thru what you guys did. I'm used to "drinking from the firehose" for about 2 weeks at a time not for a year! Too use a flying analogy............I'd still be a 100 miles behind the airplane!!
Hopefully by this time next year everyone will be more comfortable and we will be well on the way to adopting the best practices of both airlines. ( For T, that's the plural of "Airline" and "Air Lines!!!)
On another note, I watched that video of Godfathers and it looks like my kinda bar!!!
