Wow! Some of you guys really amaze me. First, you don't even know this guys situation. He could be furloughed United. I believe the majority of new-hires at GJ are furloughed UAL right now, because of the jets for jobs deal or whatever it is called. Second, there are lot's of furloughed pilots with tons of experience flying at GJ that came form American, TWA, United, Midwest, etc. I dare you to go up to anyone of these guys and call them scum, scab or whatever lovely choice words you guys have been throwing around the internet here.
