It's ironic you say that because that's exactly the opinion that many current AA pilots have about us at Eagle, and we exist BECAUSE of their scope clause and in fact SUPPORT their operation, instead of posing a direct threat like GoJet pilots have done to TSA. There's a stark contrast between the two. No, technically they're not scabs but for all intents and purposes they may as well be.
One thing I´ve learned over the past two decades, never try to reason with an APA pilot. They have a permanent case of target fixation on their own wallets. Duty, honor, respect for others and willingness to share are not among their virtues.
BTW, I agree about the stark contrast.
