The fatal flaw in this logic is that the city they are sending you is your base. I am all for bettering the life of guys on reserve but I don't think company hotels for short calls is worth the negotiating capitol.

I would suggest the bidding for short call/long call it was what was done on the fNWA side and it respected seniority. If I was commuting in for reserve I would want to block my SC together.

Here is the deal if you want to get more people to bid reserve lines...make it worth 75 hours. If reserve was worth 75 hours I would bid it and be happy to take some of those short calls off your hands. I won.t do it for 70 hours I won't take the pay cut.
