Scoop is correct. There needs to be flexibility in the system. It stinks from a reserve perspective, but those are the facts. If you went to hard on call days, there would be at least double if not triple the amount of assigned SC days. You would see six at a min. That is at least five times more than I see in all months except the summer months.

SC can be fixed with a few minor changes. People want seniority to matter, which means being junior will stink. Well, that is a fix and it means that the more junior you are the more you will get. It works for some but not for all. In the end something will have to give. What are you willing to accept?
