I think about the joke that the FAA could ground any airplane at any time if it wanted too. Same with taking over a company like AMR especially if for some bizzaro unfathomable reason it was about to fail. Which then opens the door to be taken over via bridge loans and everyone inside and out screwed over, including the pilots and including everyone who competes against AMR.
