If (and a big IF...) the govt starts picking winners and losers in the airline industry, AA is a big company, yes, but from a very "red" state (TX), with no hope of turning "blue."

United, on the other hand, is based in in Chicago (Obama) with bases in SFO (Pelosi), Denver (Convention & state turning "blue"), and Washington DC (Everyone else...). Actually, though, I think the first two are enough....
