United, on the other hand, is based in in Chicago (Obama) with bases in SFO (Pelosi), Denver (Convention & state turning "blue"), and Washington DC (Everyone else...). Actually, though, I think the first two are enough....
AA is not big enough for the government to convince taxpayers to foot their bills. The average joe will say it's just one less high cost airline.
