I'm just surprised this administration would, given some of the rules like cap-and-trade that could be coming, would factor in the cost to the airlines as a reason not to do new rule changes.
It's
always money. There's a standard value for a human life. I don't know wha the current value is but say it's 2.5 million. If you've got an idea that will cost a billion but only save 10 lives, well, sorry about that. But if you spend a million and save a life, you're up 1.5 so it's reasonable to spend the money.
