Baloney. One of the reasons my ALPA mag goes straight to the trash every month and all my ALPA emails are tagged as spam is because I became incredibly sick and tired of their primary school quality arguments and embellishments of what ALPA is "doing for me". ALPA members are an extremely high quality, well educated group of professionals. It is an insult that the union that represents them apparently assumes they don't have the intelligence and a strong enough ability to make rational decisions without a steady pummeling of propaganda that is so over the top most of the members I know simply throw it away.
This quote is particularly ironic "It is not our practice to fact check ALPA members because we do not work from the premise that our members are giving us misinformation." Unfortunately, it is grossly apparent that ALPA members cannot afford that same luxury when considering the products of their union.
