With all due respect, I doubt a B-757 can successfully take-off single engine. I realize that this is hypothetical and your last comment should be in bold type.

Having done at least ten engine out maintenance ferry flights in a B-727 (that's after a Boeing week long school and 8 hours of FAA observed simulator training), it's an "interesting operation" even in a center-line thrust aircraft. There are a number of maintenance actions that must be accomplished prior to the flight, it's a one time ferry permit (point to point) issued by the FAA and until one reaches 200 knots clean, you probably are running a rosary (no disrespect intended) and hoping the other two keep running.

I've tried it in a 757 simulator and it didn't go well. Maybe other have had better luck.

Just my two cents worth....devalued to $ 01.1998 on Friday's close.
