600TT 550ME may get you a job at a regional these days, but does it really make you an "Experienced Instructor"? If not, how the hell are they going to get said Instructor if thier people keep making the jump at that point? Pay them more than at a Regional job? Not likely.
Well boss, top of my head, and I'm no CEO, I would imagine they would do what they did when they use to offer the high altitude endorsement on the citation. They employed former airline employees, more than likely with an instructor ticket. They will be operating under a 91 certificate I'm sure, so I have no doubts they'll find a few folks over 60, more than happy to do it. You are right, insurance would never go for a guy with 600 hours.
