I just flew with the #1 F/O on the 320 outa MSP. I was hired in 87, he was hired in 85....so yes being senior seemed to work for him. Being a bottom feeder I'll never be senior, but that is a choice each of us makes.
So to answer your question. Does being #1 DC9B or MD88B make you senior? It does in category. Make your choice and live your choice
