Maybe not. I heard a rumor that the MEC might go "all in" and get behind the NWA grievances. They misjudged the emotional reaction that resulted from the decision not to pursue them so they may give Ken Watts 100% support to carry that torch to the end.

The problem is though, the contract language itself and the fact that several key guys are already on record from many months ago saying they didn't think the Delta work rules were supposed to go into effect for NWA until bid period 5. They can't really change their testimony now. The System Board would destroy them.

It will be an interesting MEC meeting.
