I have always stated that it has been the approach, and not the complaint or suggestion. That goes for both pre merger groups.
I want my job to be clear and concise while operating a jet for DAL. I like the big bubble stuff. There are a few things that can and will be improved. I believe they stated there were 350 items that were tabled until now. They are going through those as we speak. First up will be some checklist changes from what I am told.
It is a tall task. We just merged two of the largest carriers in two years. It is a success. Let give credit where credit is due on that.
Everyone is wanting to see change, well next up we will be whining about all of the changes that keep coming. Just watch! We are pilots after all.
In fairness this merger has probably been one of the best in airline history. For me it is nice to see us wanting to adopt the best of both airlines instead of shooting cannon balls at each other, although there may have been a few lobs here and there. Yes, we as pilots are professionals at complaining no doubt.
