Yea, the Varney stuff is true, but the more recent history of UAL pilots wearing buttons that say "screw Continental" back in the '80's is also true. It's going to be interesting.
If you really want to talk about the 80's, please call my father. He was a strike til the bitter end Eastern Pilot. If todays pilots had the same intestinal fortitude and principles, the industry would be dramatically different.
