We need to start considering differences. Things like sick leave use policy, which vacation pay formula or bid system will be used. There are hundreds of concerns and you people (who weren't there) are worried about what someone's father did 30 years ago? To move forward we need to look forward.

I have heard and read many UAL pilots state that they want better (in fact CAL's) mgt. Be careful what you ask for. In my view, one of the reasons things have been so bad at UAL since 9/11 is that CAL mgt has proven to be a huge cost advantage competitor. They've done this by taking from labor, especially pilots. UAL mgt just wasn't as adept at getting more for less from pilots. It's very early in the game, but if we dont hang together, we will for sure hang seperately.
