AirportKid -

Your a Y generation kid - so I know you know how to use the internet and Google.
One thing about the Marine Program (and many others I'm sure) - they WILL NOT hold your hand and walk you through the process. If you don't have the fortitude to work through the tons of paperwork and do the leg work to get all of the information together for the package, then the Marines don't want or need you.

MarineOfficer.com

This site will tell you everything you need to know about getting started down that path. DO NOT be the guy who just asks questions on an internet forum. I'm sure that EVERY service has a similar site.
GO FORTH AND SEEK KNOWLEDGE!
