You might have some luck, depending on the legal status of the airline.
I did some consulting work for a group of former Pace Airlines employees and know that since they are in bankruptcy proceedings, it's next to impossible to get any "official" records. I have been told that the administrative staff worked overtime copying training and pilot records of instructors and line pilots and distributing them
before Pace officially closed the door. The company did not send out W-2 forms to employees and the trustee said he doubted if "anything could be obtained".
