THe Merger may happen the turbo props are not going away. There are too many airports served my Saabs, Dash 8s and Beeches to toss them from the system, by the time a merger would get that far you should be furghlouged from the next airline anyway. Apply away. Be dumb and a puppet Chuck will hire you.
