That is good question nfnsquared, especially since I know some platforms in my former service aren't even flying 250 hours a year in a GOOD year!
After being retired for 4.5 months now - my yearly total has fallen to just above 200 hrs in the past 12 months - so I wouldn't be eligible I guess unless they were willing to waive some requirement, and in today's environment I have serious doubts about whether they would have a need too with so many experienced pilots looking for jobs.
