It is true that you can be haulin' down the asphalt in some cases... I no nuttin' about the longbody, so maybe it's more of a factor there, and I will look into that. For the south airplanes, I cannot recall any time that I would consider using 15 instead of 5 for T/O. I think that most S guys are pretty confident in the AWABS and if it works we use it. I'm on vacation right now, and I'm not sure about the 15 option. I
think it will only give you flaps 5.. but maybe you can ask for a 15 T/O via ACARS. I will look into that when I go back to work.. and try to remember to let you know. Send me a PM if you would and that will refresh my memory.
Thanks T, sure will. I'm off to CDG with the MSP Chief Pilot.....again (thank gawd he's a great guy) and another LCA (we are going to get them for 6 months on the MSP-CDG-MSP rotation...a good thing)
