That's why DAL-S doesn't have a lot of guys commuting in to "train" in ATL. There are no shortages of guys who can instruct, nor who want to. Why would DAL pay for guys to fly in and board, at company expense? Sorry, the whole ivory tower instructing thing is so '80s.
Not sure if it is true, but I have been told that the instructor pay (seniority type) has been arbitrarily dropped from 5+15 a day to what a contractual sim day pays which is 3+15.
Anyone know if there is any truth to this?
