I know the ER is typically staffed alot higher than the aircraft categories given relief pilot positions, but still seems like the M88 is going to struggle to make the schedule.
I guess they can plan on offloading some of the MSP flying onto the other bases and deal with it until new hires are brought on board. Should be a good couple of months to GS for the m88.
Maybe they left the staffing high on the ER because they are expecting more flying on it in the future. Or maybe they figured if they were going to displace people from the ER, they would get pay protected. Maybe they figured it was better to have them on the ER where they could maybe expand the flying vs. training them and putting them on a narrowbody - then to only move them back to the ER (or whatever they want) when retirements kick in. Just some ideas.
