I need to drop a trip in June if I can't swap it. Can I drop it using a personal drop? What is the difference between a personal drop and an authorized personal drop? A personal drop will only be approved if the reserve coverage is above the min level while an authorized personal drop can be approved if the reserves available are at least 25% of the reserves required for any day you are requesting a drop. Can't use an APD over certain holidays and you only get one per year. You don't get paid for either of them, and you can pick up a trip later in the month as long as it is not on the same day as a day that was originally dropped.
