The bottom line is this. Management aka the Company hires pilots, we don't; nor does DALPA. He's a good and fair guy and will do running the hiring. The more important question is why spend the time and money to spool up the hiring dept for only 300 or so guys and half of those are flows/recalls. Methinks the 300 is just the appetizer!
