Here is a question that I really don't understand because in the grand scheme of things I have been in the industry that long.
How is that Southwest can offer the best pilot package in people moving today yet other airlines have to continue slashing pilot pay and benefits to compete.
I do know the whole fuel hedge thing but this problem existed prior to high fuel prices and even 9/11. Please correct me if I am wrong.
