I've been trying to pick-up a trip all week with no luck. I'm over ALV, so I can only pick up via green slip, so I'm pretty far down the list. Finally decided to just take out all my slips and just enjoy the time off.
You can also pick up over the max via the ecrew swap board. There are always pilots who want to drop a trip and they'll post it as 'PU'
