I feel for you, 5 knots is very slow, but it is unusual. However, I've had some jets pass by us on a parallel taxiway and we were moving 25 knots.

Some of the worst aviation accidents have happened due to taxi mistakes. If you get into a rush, mistakes can be easily made and/or not realized.

I wonder if that rush mindset was casual in the this incident? OPS09IA007B

Although the FAA officially faulted the tower controller for not using standard phraseology and physically clearing the runway first, the Southwest jet did take the runway from the wrong position even after another aircraft already received a takeoff clearance. Everyone involved here is very lucky.
