I'm starting the program this summer. I was concerned that it would be so focused on aviation that it would not help me outside the aviation world. I talked to cousins who have an MBA, and showed them the classes I have to take to complete my degree. One has never worked in the field her MBA is in, one does, and one ended up as a english teacher. Go figure.
4 of the first 6 classes are not really aviation related business classes. You then take 4 more classes that you pick out of 15. One of my cousins pointed out I can make it as aviation, business, or split between the two as I want it to be. My other cousin pointed out that lots of places want to see transcripts not so much as to see how you did as much as they want to know you really have the degree. They'll see what classes you take regardless of what the piece of paper says on the top.
Just remember, it's never a bad thing to have an advanced degree.
