Just pick up a book, or several books, and teach yourself. Don't waste $1000 at FSI or SimCom. You don't have to know how to build the thing, just the basic premise of how it works. If you get stuck on something, you have this lovely forums full of thousand and thousands of hours of experience to call up. More than one person will be willing to help you, guaranteed
