I'm going to add this point, though. I think a lot of our performance issues may have to do with how the rampers are managed also. I don't think increasing pay alone is the answer. SWA rampers start at about $10 to $11 per hour which is about what our rampers make. Yet, they bust their butts to get the planes out. A place like JFK, maybe the rampers don't care because they don't feel like they have a vested interest in the company. They probably run the ramp understaffed as it is. I'm not sure what the answer is because I don't work on the ramp, but I think just increasing salaries alone is not the answer and probably won't fix the problem. I think Richard Anderson should be on the show "Undercover Boss." Maybe he could figure out the answer!
