What I am saying is hire people that are willing able and might even WANT to work. They should know what the job entails when they get hired and they obviously know what they are getting paid and took the job.
I worked ramp for 5 years and know first hand what it entails. I worked with people that were motivated to get the job done. We were short plenty of times but managed. Does DAL run a lean machine on the ramp? Absolutely and that could change to help things out, but it doesn't change the simple fact that you hire people that are willing and able to do the job they are hired to do.
There are good guys and gals working the ramp in many stations through out the system, no doubt. It is the few lazy sour apples that drag the rest down. These are the ones that we need to let go, and hire as I said above.
