Even though they didn't ask you to leave, I can safely say based on what you said, that the reason you didn't get the job was your goof on the sim. I'm sure that there are examples of people failing other portions, but when I was at the training center and on my interview, the only reason people ever busted was sim. It's also possible you were borderline on everything, but my recommendation to you would be to go get some sim prep before you go up there. Fly the same approaches that you remember from the interview, have someone give you practice holds, etc. And definetily send your resume a bit early. I think the fact that you're trying again after 6 months will look very good to the people interviewing you, shows you want to be here. Good luck, see you on the line.
