Just a word of advice for the new Heavy D, (thats Delta with a little synergistic pilot/rap lingo), when we face a problem like load planning in DTW or JFK, the answer is not just the right solution but rather the agreed upon solution- the one we can all buy into. Such as a central OCC LP.

If there is no emotional connection to the solutions for this airline then we will have a lot of pilots, et. al., spinning their wheels such that you can kiss D-0 goodbye at every base, year round.

So where is the problem, where is the pain? And whats the agreed upon right solution- the one comes from an unfiltered debate where people are heard out, completely. And htus be dedicated to fostering a team commited to this airline, its customers, its employees and its goals and not just a group of people whose only commitment is to their paycheck.
