This is new to the company and they will be experimenting with it. At the present expect to most likely be assigned a 24 hr break before the 7th day but this is not required.

Exactly. So if you sit 6 days straight reserve without being used, do not call them. Maybe you'll go into your 7th and 8th days without being used. Then let them try to assign you a trip. This is where you get to let them know that you need 24 hours rest before you can fly per FAR's at which point you might get out of a trip. No sense in making their job easier at your expense.
